The Alliance Francaise Group d'Omaha

History

In 1902, the Federation of French Alliances in the United States is established to support the use of
of French language, and stimulate student exchanges between France and the U. S. In 1905, the Societe
des Professeurs Francaise of New York was formed. In 1927, the American Association of Teachers of French
was formed consisting of teachers in the College and Secondary levels. -Orv Menard
